The Capital Dairy Company Limited began trading in 1993, supplying retailers within the London area with milk and bread. The business began with just 2 vehicles operating from a depot in North London. Today there are 100 vehicles supplying a full range of milk, bread and dairy products to a variety of businesses within the London Area and the Home Counties. The business has been able to grow due to the solid foundations that were laid at the very beginning. The Capital Dairy Company Limited has never lost sight of the fact that our customer’s requirements are always paramount, “we pride ourselves on being a company that is big enough to cope whilst being small enough to care”. Our aim has always been to build, nurture and develop strong working relationships

 

Following the acquisition of a new depot in Barnsley in 2008, the company whose Head Office is in Barking in Essex acquired four additional distribution sites in 2009 in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire thus enabling them to expand their business further across the country. These sites are based on the Lincolnshire coast at Skegness, in South Lincolnshire at Pinchbeck near Spalding, in West Yorkshire at Leeds and finally in South Yorkshire at Hillsborough, Sheffield. With these four new key areas The Capital Dairy Company limited are now looking to develop the business on a much larger scale.
